Terror in the Corn

It's Thursday, and you know what that means! It's Meet the Character Thursday! Every Thursday we will be profiling a different resident of Raven's Gulch. Today, we profile Morgana the Deadly, Herald of Dumitra!

Morgana started out as just a normal girl in a normal town. She was an artist, making paintings, pottery, and other works of art that she sold to the townsfolk to make a few bucks. Everything was going well for Morgana, until she came across the Wells twins. Charles and Mildred Wells were not particularly fond of Morgana or her art, claiming she started using it to spread propaganda around the town. Art being her only way to make money, she began turning to petty thievery in order to survive. One day, she successfully made the riskiest theft yet. She stole Charles Wells' beloved pocket watch. She decided to sell the watch to a young girl in town, not knowing this young girl's parents resided just outside of the Wells Hotel. They reported her to the Sheriff, who then took her into custody and gave her to Charles and Mildred.

Charles told Morgana that she needed to pay for her crimes. Since her crime was theft, he wanted to make sure she couldn’t pull something off like this again. Therefore, Charles brutally sawed off Morgana’s hands and made a clean cut halfway down her forearms. Mildred then helped Charles carry Morgana out to the road where they left her there to bleed out. What they didn’t expect, however, is that Dumitra the Witch would find her laying there begging for her life. Dumitra took a chance on this lost soul, for she could feel the hatred burning in Morgana’s soul. The Witch gave Morgana life once again, but she didn’t come back the same. Dumitra blessed Morgana with a small fraction of her power, which gave Morgana green eyes and new, monster-like hands. Now, Morgana, being a witch herself, stands by Dumitra’s side with her close friends Jack and Bartholomew, vowing for one thing and one thing only. Revenge.

Meet Morgana the Deadly, Herald of Dumitra and all of the residents of Raven's Gulch this fall at Terror in the Corn! Opening September 26th!!
